| Since 1978, Ristorante Pizzeria Le 4 Stagioni has been
located in what used to be a large butcher’s shop in the southern
part of Amsterdam. After 25 years, this restaurant, with its antique tiles
portraying the four seasons (le 4 stagioni), has become the city’s
oldest and most established pizzeria. It is widely known and a regular
visiting spot for local residents and Concerthall-goers.
The pizza’s are of Roman high quality, with a thin crunchy base and rich fillings. The rest of the menu, like the classic antipasti (including bruschette, vitello tonnate and insalata caprese), fresh pasta’s and authentic Italian meat and fish dishes, are also more than enough reason to visit Le 4 Stagioni. Furthermore, vegetarian dishes are provided. Le 4 Stagioni will seat 60 people. During the summer months, it offers a large heated outdoor terrace in the front with a seating capacity of 50. It is recommended to book in advance for parties over 4 persons. We also accept take-away orders by telephone. |
The
restaurant was renovated in 2001, preserving and reinstating its authentic
character. The modern décor and colour settings have resulted
in a contemporary establishment exuding the atmosphere of a lively Mediterranean
café. Giulia Consonni is the inspiring manager of the mostly
Italian staff. Quality, cosiness and personal attention are key.
