Benvenuto a ristorante Oceano

Ristorante Pizzeria Oceano is situated in a former boathouse at Borneokade. Once the building served as a canteen for harbor laborers. The industrial space, which was also used as an art studio, has been a restaurant since 1999.

Restaurant “ Le 4 Stagioni” in Amsterdam “oud zuid” which has been around for over 25 years serves as an example to Oceano, which inherited the same characteristic decor after the refurbishment in October 2005.

Because of our original Italian pizza-oven, the pizzas are of a Roman standard, crispy with a thin crust and richly covered. Also the other dishes on the menu, like the classic antipasti, fresh pastas and authentic Italian meat- and fish dishes are a reason to frequently enjoy a meal at Oceano. Besides there are vegetarian dishes.

It is the Italian Cantina ‘of and for’ the neighborhood where you can also stop for a cocktail and Italian tapas at the bar. The terrace opens at 15.00 p.m., the kitchen is opened from 5.00 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays lunch is served from 12.00 hrs.

The dining part of Oceano is non-smoking. In summer our spacious, heated terrace with view over the water can be used. Of course Oceano can also be reached by boat, there is a pier in front.
